include the following:
● Phospholipid bilayer: draw the hydrophilic heads (color red) and the hydrophobic tails (color blue)
● Proteins: Draw some embedded proteins (color orange)
● Label which side of the cell is the INSIDE and which side of the cell is the OUTSIDE

Answer

Instructions for Drawing:

  1. Phospholipid Bilayer: Draw two parallel lines to represent the bilayer. Use red to color the circles representing the hydrophilic heads on the outer side of each line. Use blue to color the lines representing the hydrophobic tails between the heads.

  2. Proteins: Draw several irregular shapes embedded within the bilayer to represent proteins. Color these shapes orange.

  3. Labeling: Clearly label one side of the bilayer as 'INSIDE' and the opposite side as 'OUTSIDE'.
