Which graph shows the solution set to the following system of inequalities?

Which graph shows the solution set to the following system of inequalities?
x − y < 0
x + y ≥ −2
3x − y ≤ 6

Answer

The top-right graph. Rewrite the inequalities as y > x, y ≥ −x − 2, and y ≥ 3x − 6. The solution is the region above all three lines. The boundary y = x is dashed because its inequality is strict; the other two boundaries are solid.
