Steps for Performing CPR:

  1. C - Compressions: Begin with chest compressions. Place the heel of one hand on the center of the person's chest, place your other hand on top, and press down hard and fast at a rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute.
  2. A - Airway: After 30 compressions, open the person's airway by tilting their head back slightly and lifting their chin.
  3. B - Breathing: Give rescue breaths. Pinch the person's nose shut, cover their mouth with yours, and blow into their mouth to make the chest rise. Give two breaths, each lasting about one second.

Repeat the cycle of 30 compressions and 2 breaths until medical help arrives or the person shows signs of life.
